Jonas Mekas

Jonas Mekas (1922 December 24th. Seimeniškės – 2019 January 23th. New York) was a Lithuanian American filmmaker, poet, and artist who has often been called “the godfather of American avant-garde cinema”. His work has been exhibited in museums and at festivals worldwide.
