e.k.art is a virtual gallery representing one of the oldest Vilnius’ art and antiques centres.

It opened in heart of Vilnius’ Old Town (Didžioji 27) in 1990. From the 1990s onwards, the gallery offers its clients a beautiful collections of works of art bringing together the paintings, drawings, photography, furniture, art objects, religious artefacts from the 16th to 21st centuries.

The art and antiques gallery regularly presents the great names in the fine arts world fusing Old Masters and Lithuanian modernists, German romanticists and Russian realists, representatives of European modernism and Lithuania’s Jewish art, masters of the iconic photographs etc.

Among the highlights of the gallery’s exhibition are works by Ernst Stuven, Joost van Cleef, Frans Pourbus the Elder, Mstislav Dobuzinskij, Stasys Ušinskas, Lazar Segall, Teodoras Kazimieras Valaitis, Elvyra Kairiūkštytė, Cornell Capa, Herman Leonard, Willy Ronis, Koos Breukel, Vitas Luckus, Arvydas Pakalka, Dedong Zheng, Vytautas Balčytis, Arūnas Baltėnas, Arturas Valiauga and others.

 

e.k.art gallery is basing its activities on values of professionalism and authenticity. Over 25 years the gallery assists individuals, collectors, and decorators from Lithuania and Russia to USA, Taiwan and Singapore. We have helped enrich collections for both individuals and museums in Lithuania. In 2010, the founder and owner of the gallery Edmondas Kelmickas presented two paintings by Joost van Cleef (~1520-1556) and Frans Pourbus the Elder (1545-1581) on loan at the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. The gallery is a founder member of the National Antiques Association.

e.k.art gallery collaborates with contemporary Lithuanian and international visual artists and photographers. e.k.art exhibits a constantly-changing selection of works at national and international exhibitions and art fairs.
